The Reference Nodes Tab Page
On this tab page the details of all the nodes that are not either a sprinkler, nozzle, input point or fixed discharge are displayed automatically, i.e. the user cannot add or delete nodes on this screen, they are added when they are entered on a pipe and deleted when the nodes are entered/deleted or flagged as sprinklers, nozzles, etc. on the Pipes Tab page. These nodes (on this page) are referred to as reference nodes and they require only the elevation to be entered.
The buttons on the Tool Bar for this page are:
- Close - exits this screen
- Show Errors
- Help on the current tab page.
- Display Reference Nodes โ All or Compressed
The items entered for reference nodes are:
Elevation:
- Elevations can be entered conveniently for groups of nodes when Display is set to Compressed.
- The elevation of the node above or below a given datum in units as specified in the Project Tab Page. If left blank in the Sprinkler and Nozzles, Hydrants/Standpipes or Reference nodes data, the program assumes the default value above the column heading.
Above the input data table for the reference nodes is a field which allows the entry of a default elevation which applies to any reference node where this field is left blank.
Two radio buttons above the data table, allow the nodes to be ordered by node number or by elevation.
Measurement Node: This is a nominated node where the measurements are to be taking when testing/certifying the system. If entered an extra line with the flow and pressure at this node is listed in the Summary Results. It must be a Reference node and must have two and only two pipes connected.
