What is HYENA+?
HYENA+ is a hydraulic calculation software for automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire hydrant and hose reel systems, combined sprinkler hydrant and/or hose reel systems, or any other hydraulic systems where the discharges can be represented by a k-factor and minimum flow.
How is HYENA+ accessed
HYENA+ is accessed via your web browser and can be accessed when you have an internet connection.
Can the subscription be shared with multiple users?
Subscriptions are user specific and therefore each user will be required to have their own subscription.
A Single Account provides access to a single user and additional users can be added as required.
How do I manage my account?
Each account has three roles. An Account Owner, Administrator and User.
Account Owner:
- Can add new users and remove existing users from an account.
- Note: This role is automatically assigned to the person creating the Account.
Account Administrators:
- Can add new users and remove existing users from an account
- Note: each account has a maximum of two Account Administrators.
Users:
- Can access the software.
- Note: An Account Owner or Administrator must also be selected as a User should they wish to use the software.
One of my users has left the company, what happens to their subscription?
The user’s subscription remains under the ownership of the Account Owner.
Existing users can be removed from an account and their existing subscription allocated to a new user. Projects created by the previous users are still retained in the company account after the user is removed.
What Subscription types are available?
We offer two Subscription types: Annual and Monthly.
Can additional Subscriptions be added to the Account?
We work with our customers to accommodate their growing needs. Additional Subscriptions can be added onto the Account as and when required on a pro-rata basis up to your account renewal date.
How are Subscriptions Renewed?
Subscriptions are renewed automatically. An invoice will be generated on the Subscription due date. Payments can be set up by the Account Owner through a portal so that access to the software is not disrupted to Users. Reminders are also
issued out ahead of the Account renewal date.
Is there a HYENA+ trial available?
ACADS-BSG offer a free 14-day trial for evaluation purposes. After this period, a yearly subscription will start and you will be charged according to the number of users selected. Cancel at any time before then to avoid being charged.

The user interface for HYENA+ is much cleaner and more user friendly than the UI used for the original HYENA program. This makes the experience more enjoyable, easy, and less taxing when using the program for long periods of time. HYENA is an excellent tool to have and its now web-based nature with HYENA+ has allowed it to become even more beneficial.
